Setkání s legendou – Cynthia Rothrock opět v Česku
Do České republiky se vrací jedna z největších ikon bojových umění a akčních filmů – Cynthia Rothrock. Přezdívaná „Královna akčních filmů“ inspiruje již několik desetiletí nejen filmové fanoušky, ale také tisíce instruktorů, závodníků a studentů bojových umění po celém světě.
Měl jsem to štěstí, že jsem se s Cynthií osobně setkal hned třikrát.
Naše první setkání proběhlo v listopadu 2012 během Budoshow v Brně. O několik měsíců později jsme se znovu potkali v dubnu 2013 na mezinárodní akci v německém Mnichově. Třetí a zatím poslední setkání následovalo v září 2016 ve švýcarském Hinwilu.
Každé z těchto setkání pro mě bylo výjimečným zážitkem. Cynthia mě zaujala nejen svými mimořádnými dovednostmi a technickou precizností, ale především svou skromností, srdečností a přirozeným přístupem k lidem. Přestože patří mezi největší osobnosti světových bojových umění, vždy si našla čas na fanoušky, fotografie, podpisy i přátelský rozhovor.
Právě takové osobnosti dokazují, že skutečné mistrovství nespočívá jen v technice, ale také v charakteru, pokoře a úctě k ostatním.
O to větší radost mám z jejího návratu do České republiky. Tentokrát zavítá do Náchoda, kde budou mít fanoušci jedinečnou příležitost setkat se s ní osobně, zúčastnit se semináře a načerpat inspiraci od ženy, která se nesmazatelně zapsala do historie bojových umění i světové kinematografie.
Pokud budete mít možnost, tuto výjimečnou událost si rozhodně nenechte ujít. Setkání s Cynthií Rothrock není jen setkáním s filmovou hvězdou. Je to setkání s člověkem, který svým celoživotním přístupem, profesionalitou a pokorou inspiruje již několik generací bojovníků po celém světě.

Meeting a Legend: Cynthia Rothrock Returns to the Czech Republic
Few names in the world of martial arts and action cinema command as much respect as Cynthia Rothrock. Often referred to as the "Queen of Action Films," she has inspired generations of martial artists, instructors, and movie fans through her remarkable career, extraordinary skill, and unwavering dedication to the martial arts.
I have had the privilege of meeting Cynthia on three separate occasions, and each experience left a lasting impression.
Our first meeting took place in November 2012 during Budoshow in Brno, Czech Republic. We met again just a few months later, in April 2013, at an international martial arts event in Munich, Germany. Our most recent meeting was in September 2016 in Hinwil, Switzerland, where martial artists from around the world gathered to share knowledge, experience, and a common passion.
What has always stood out to me is not only Cynthia's exceptional technical ability, but also her genuine humility and gracious personality. Despite her international fame and legendary status, she has always been approachable, generous with her time, and sincerely interested in the people she meets. Whether posing for photographs, signing autographs, or simply chatting with fellow martial artists, she treats everyone with warmth, respect, and kindness.
Those qualities are what truly define a martial arts master. Technical excellence may earn admiration, but character, humility, and respect are what leave a lasting legacy.
That is why I am especially excited to welcome Cynthia back to the Czech Republic. This time, she will be appearing in Náchod, where participants will have a rare opportunity to train with one of the most influential women in the history of martial arts and action films. Events like this are about far more than learning techniques—they are about sharing knowledge, building friendships, and celebrating the spirit of the martial arts.
If you have the opportunity to attend, don't miss it. Meeting Cynthia Rothrock is not simply an opportunity to meet a Hollywood action star. It is a chance to learn from a true martial artist whose professionalism, humility, and lifelong commitment to excellence continue to inspire people around the world.
